All courses are built around the official BCS syllabus. Each course has its own syllabus and each can be viewed for free in the preview section. The BCS syllabus is also built upon the SfiaPlus framework helping to plot your career progression against an industry-defined benchmark.

How Will I Study & Achieve the Certification?
You will study the course through our online portal with your own login so you can measure your progression throughout the course. Once you have thoroughly studied the content, you book an online exam (which can be taken at home), through the BCS who is the awarding body. The exam is proctored by Questionmark and you will require a laptop with a webcam. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded your industry recognised certificate and 1 year BCS Associate membership.

I live Overseas. Can I Study with Duco?
Yes, we can support your learning if you live outside the UK. Please bear in mind that email support is open between 9 am and 5 pm GMT, Monday to Friday and the course content and exam is currently available in the English language only. Additional time may be offered in the exam to assist if English is your second or third language. Please contact us before purchasing about this.

What Equipment do I Need?
To learn all you need is a mobile, tablet or laptop with a steady internet connection. For the exam, you will need access to a laptop or computer using the Chrome browser with a webcam and a quiet room without anyone else, mobile phone or notes. The course and exam must be completed within 12 months of your enrolment date.

Do I have To Pay For An Exam?
Each course includes the cost of one exam, meaning you do not have to pay for the exam. However, a learner would have to pay the cost of an exam if they needed to take a resit.
